Thank goodness there's Kloosterstraat, a milelong stretch of quirky (and much less pricey) antiques shops, all-day cafes, and ethnic restaurants that physically and metaphorically link the densely packed ancient heart of the city with the tonier southern end. (according to The New York Times)
